MASTERING
Mastering is the final production process your music goes through before it is ready for cd duplication.
During the mastering phase, final equalisation, multi-band or stereo compression/limiting will be applied to the stereo mix. The application of these processes and combination thereof, are all dependent on the individual requirements of your music or audio material.
These processes are designed to further enhance the quality of a finished mix, boosting the perceived volume of your audio material by increasing the average RMS value and addressing any minor frequency or mix balance discrepancies, making improvements to these areas where possible.
Mastering is the highly delicate, and often overlooked, production phase which makes your music suitable for general listening outside of the environment of the recording studio. It is necessary in order to give your final mix that extra edge and provide the final professional polish to your commercial product.
We offer professional studio mastering at an affordable price.
To have your music professionally mastered, you simply need to upload your stereo mix to our FTP server.
Please listen to the examples listed to hear first hand the quality of mastering on offer. Each piece can be heard before and after the mastering process.
For more information, to discuss specific requirements, or to receive an upload form to enable the commencement of the mastering process, please contact Ryan at mail@ryanjsmith.co.uk
